Front brake hose springs and clips

by Devon » Thu Mar 13, 2014 12:23 pm

Hey all,

My car is missing the front brake springs and clips to hold the brake lines out of the way.

I know you can get them from rare spares (http://www.rarespares.net.au/rarespares ... uct=BP1004) but also found them on eBay at half the price from 'parts_cloner' (http://r.ebay.com/FOpKL2) anyone give me a reason to not go with the cheaper version?

John McBride I bought a set of stainless repro ones a few years ago because that was what I found first when searching. I would assume either will suffice.

I'll order the cheaper parts cloner version and post up images when installed for future reference.

Anybody have a photo of where the holes in the body are or should be? I can't find them even if my life depended on it :(

Spoke to the Vic EH club's brakes expert and turns out while a lot of EJ/EH's have the brake springs/clips fitted only HD's and up came standard and all other where aftermarket modifications!
