Is there any reason a volvo disk brake rear cant be used? From what I have been told they are very strong, lots of different ratios, the right width and the same stud pattern

They are not easy to find in the correct model for the right width, compared to a Commodore Borg Warner (BW) LSD live rear end.

It does also depend on what stud pattern the whole car is running. If you are running Chev, Ford or Commodore stud pattern, then the Volvo diff has to be modified more.

Billet axles in any length, any stud pattern are about $800 a pair in 28 spline. They will go straight in your BW rear end, tough and pass engineering.

My brother & I are both running borg warner diffs in our cars, my brother is making 420hp @ wheels and hasnt had a problem with it. Havent done any big launches on a track though but rumour has it they hold up well.

I would suggest spending money on a better single turbo than 2 cheaper turbos aswell.
