Yep , front end is hr already in the car and converted for
V6 by rods n racks some time back but changed my mind
due to new engineering rules ( cant have a super charger any more ) so gona stick with the 179 ... so need the engine mounts changed and moved.

cheers

If reconfiguring a HR front end to fit a red into an EH, keeping the factory look, I would suggest finding a pair of mounts removed from a HR front end & rework them to suit. Ensure you get the mounts at correct height so the motor sits right.

Thxs for all the advise it is appreciated ... didnt realise that the factory base mounts rather than box sec modified to fit is the norm for straight sixes as the mounts that are welded on for the v6 look factory items even if most likely second hand where as yes the what was going to be temp 179 base mounts also in the car are definatly box section to fit. thnxs again , given ive had the old girl for a long time its not a hassle to undo what has been done in the engine mount department .. to save tying this forum i will post for advise under the tech section .. with a pic of what has been done in regards to the two engine mount combinations currently in the car.

cheers

I'll look out for the post. I have an EJ with red motor mounts although I am not using them. The timing is not right to help you out though as I have a HR front end but am several month off fitting that or you could have my mounts.
