Happy new year everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas and new year. Didn't get up to much myself and did very little on the wagon. I do have a small update. Rubbed back the right hand quarter panel and managed to buff and polish without burning through.

And fit the stainless moulding. Did a few small things but nothing photo worthy. Anyway until next time.

Hi Doc, yes indeed. Got to get the trimmer to come around to fit the headlining before I want to move any further. Then it will be full steam ahead assembling the rest.

Hi Spaghettijet , I am getting the trimmer over next weekend to fit the headlining then it should be full steam ahead. Hopefully completed in the next 3 months. Haven't been doing much picture worthy lately just small things waiting for the headlining to be installed.

Hi All. Big news, the head lining is in. The trimmer came over Saturday and it looks real good.
So we started with this

The trimmer I used is Bruce Prouse from the north side of Brisbane. He works for himself. Bruce was happy enough for me to mention him here. He has a facebook page if anyone is interested.
After all that I was left with this big hole.

Only one thing to do.

The strut on the upper tailgate was the wrong size(too long) but I have managed to find the right one. Should have it by the end of the week. Unfortunately I won't be able to work on it for the next 2 week end. Getting a new fence and the neighbour and I are removing the old one to save a few bucks (more for the wagon). Anyway that's it for now.

Cheers

I'll second that motion, looking real good. You must be getting itchy feet now Anthony especially since that hood lining went in it must have that NEW car smell.
