Ran into some problems fitting the radiator, thermofans, air condenser and trans cooler in the space available today, so a couple of solutions, dispense with the commodore thermo fan, and fit davis Craig slimline fans to radiator, or after some research, a pulsar radiator and fans might work too.
I’m leaning towards the Davis Craig slim line fans as first option and have found some at a reasonable price so will grab these today and trial fit

Got the Davis craig fans that fit quite well just Ned to modify the radiator. Mounting slightly.

At last radiator and fans fitted today, bit of wiring work required to operate using the orginal commordore hi speed low speed wiring relays, so going to configure the large thermo to operate of the low speed relay and the smaller fan to operate of the high speed relay. The small fan on the condenser will be wired independently and hooked up to air conditioner switch. Should all work and not be a problem for the pcm.

Progress and bits missing in action. Thanks doc, here’s what I have and don’t have I guess.
Looks like I need the part that the spring loaded latch rods attach to, and one of the front bumper bracket as shown, now I know I might have these bits"..... somewhere, but can’t find them.

For the tailgate, looks like you have the handles but need the "square hole plate" part that slips over the square handle end. In my (crappy) photo below, you can see it. The spring loaded latch rods attach with the fancy clips like a carb linkage (bottom left). You can the square handle hole (top right). I have a spare handle, but do not have a spare "square hole plate". The square shaped hole flogs out, making the handle sloppy. I only have one of these, which I used on my wagon project. Tried filling the flogged-out hole with U-KenadIt, but it is too brittle.

Rares sell the rods, springs and clips, but not the "square hole plate":
