Got a coat on the top side of the bonnet, ang plenum ready for colour, this will enable me to assemble and alighn all the front panels and doors, yep it would be better to spray the body unassembled and the pieces off the car all at the same t8me but I’ve run out of room and no where to put the pieces except on the car, at the m9ment the gaurds are wrapped up on the roof!
Here’s the pics

Yep I blocked it back today, but didn’t get a chance to paint the door today as the weather was windy, so maybe tomorrow, the paint has flowed out well, pithy about the dust and fluff, but I’m going to sort the last couple of coats out in a hire booth. Putting a coat on at home allows me to find the imperfections in the prep to fix up. Hope to assemble up the front over the weekend too.

Front fitted up and bolted in place, come up pretty good, all gaps are pretty reasonable too so I’m quite happy .note the slight colour shade difference on the drivers door, I was at the bottom of the first paint tin, really does pay to shake th shit out of the tin everytime with a good stir, not to worry whole car gets another couple of coats in the booth.
Next job, attack the roof, block back, re prime block back etc etc, probably be a month on this!

Some progress made although hard to see! Roof blocked back and several dents filled. Primer surfacer reapplied requiring blocking back again, hopefully next week might see some colour on the roof at least.
