windscreen rubbers

g'day all,
who sells the best quality front & rear windscreen rubbers for EH utes? i've read there were some issues with poor fitting ones from a bad batch that came from RS.

I've only ever used Rare Spare rubbers & have never had issues. Some will disagree.

Well as it turns out i purchased front & rear windscreen rubbers from RS for my ute, fitted the front one without too much of an issue. The rear one on the other hand was a frigging mission & after many frustrating hours of getting it to go in, it popped out on the one of the side windows a week later & the other side is not far off doing the same. I knew when i first sized it it up that it looked way to small. I'm not a glazier but i have fitted a few windscreens in my time but none were as hard as this.

I thought it may be that the side windows were to big but they look ok against the body, the rubber however does not, looks to be at least an inch too short. Even when i got it in there eventually, there is no way it would seal. I will posts some photos as soon as i get a chance, just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem? and if there is anything i am missing before blaming the RS product & going back to RS.

I would take them back , show them the photos , it shouldn't be a drama .
It looks like they have supplied the wrong one , or the wrong one was supplied in the package (i.e. mixed up ).
Have a check of the part number supplied with the package if you still have it to see if that was right?
It looks like it could be to suit an earlier model ute , like FE ,FC or FB, EK , perhaps .

take them back rs have placed a lot of rubbers and other stuff in wrong packaging lately

thanks guys,
been in contact with RS, they have been very helpful & suspect a problem with supply of the wrong part in the right bag.
They will replace it with the correct one once they can work out where it's gone wrong.
