Finished paint, may need to compound cut, but then again this isn’t a show car it’s going to be my daily cool driver.

Vintage air under dash slimline unit arrived today, it’s got heater and defrost functions as well and fits in behind and under the dash frame, it’s rather inoffensive but could be improved upon by having ability to paint the fascia to same colour as ones dash, but because it’s abs material I don’t think it could be painted , but I will research.
Anyhow overall a nice fitting unit that will give me the hot and cold air!

Yep, I need to fabricate a metal console copy of an eh factory unit to fit, I’m going to also make a recess and mount a reversing camera screen.
Just got to fabricate some rear support straps for the aircon unit tonight In my break at work, then I can f8nsh trial fit tomorrow.

I contacted vintage air who replied that the aircon not can be painted. So what I thought I might do is paint the dash metal the same colour as the car, get the crash pad redone in orginal grey and paint the aircon box grey to suit dashcrash pad.

In need of some assistance. Now that the car is starting to go back together, there are a lot of bits missing. 8m off to rare spares to see if they have them, but I doubt it.
So I need one head light insert case rim, and one headlight wiring grommet. Then there’s the springs and adjusting screws, who knows where they have gone, but maybe rare spare might have.

Park light relocated to in h 4 headlight.
