A little progress with the dash surround side plates riveted in place, still needs some dressing up and bonding prior to fibreglass placky over the lot.

Good to catch up on your progress Spag. Been off line a while due to digital incompetence combined with laziness. You are to be commended for sticking with it after the various setbacks you’ve encountered. My van is stalled since February due to arrival of an FB ute on the scene.

Keep at it mate
Cheers

Well, some small progress with the bonnet in primer ready to block back along with the fenders and doors! Some disruption to the ej with a motor rebuild, a vintage mini bike frame to paint and a rack and pinion conversion for the Val.

That colour looks beautiful. Is it a genuine EJ colour? Cant wait to see the big back end of the van in that shade.

Cheers,

Hi ya, yes it’s a genuine eh colour, can’t remember the name, but I had to go to AMCAP in Perth and get a Duco sample made up, spray it out to check colour and then take it to the paint shop and have them match it in 2k paint.

I'm with Harv, Spag. It's a great colour. Hard to tell in the photos, sometimes it looks greenish, other times it looks blueish.

Well done.

Cheers,

John

Green was a very popular colour for the EH range. Could be Budgeree Green, Saltbush Green, Valley Mist Green, Balhannah Green, Narrogin Green, Woodsman Green, Aqua Turqoise, Mitta Green, Gippsland Green, Wandanna Turquoise or Marlin Turquoise.

Cheers,
Harv
