Hi guys, i hope you all had a good xmas. You know the saying the best laid plans of mice and men, well in a previous life i must have been a bad bugger cause kharma has come to bite me. i was supposed to get the old girl back xmas week but that didn't eventuate because of other commitments. Then the poor bugger doing the paint ended up with DVT in his leg so was laid up for a couple of weeks and then his son was buffing my old girl last week and cut the tendons on his little finger. I tell you if i didn't have bad luck i wouldn't have any luck at all. Anywho all being well it should be this week or early next week i will get it home to start on the wiring and interior, all things crossed. There is one thing i am missing though(well 6 actually) they are the little clips that hold the chrome strips either side of the turret which are on two tone cars. Mine were stuffed when i stripped her down so if anyone has them and would like to sell them to me please pm me or if you know where new ones can be purchased that would be perfect. Will keep in touch ,
Glenn.

Hi Glenn
I have 3 of the clips in Melbourne, which you can have, if that's any good. Failing that, Rares sell a plastic moulding clip (6) set for HQ - pics attached - for $10. I've read somewhere that an EH owner actually used them, but can't offer any info regarding how successful they were. They are approx 1mm thicker and a fraction wider than the old steel ones, but actually seem to sit better in the stainless.
If you're sorted, no problem.
regards
Steve

Thanks for the offer Steve. I had a look at the ones from rares and in the meantime i have sourced some originals and they don't look too bad so i"ll see how they go.

Does my skirt make me look fat. Just finished underneath with raptor. A few minor things to fix with the paint and then into the fun of putting it all back together. Got held up for quite a few weeks with illnesses with my painter and then the grandfatherly things i get to do.
