Very slow mate just spent 3 days getting the dents out of the bonnet, looks like it was sandblasted prior to me getting it,and had all the whoops in it the skin, so had to heat shrink all the low spot to straighten it back out

Looking good! I know what you mean when going slow. I’ve spent the last couple of days on my van with very little visual progress, lot of half finished jobs s I need this or that. More evil bay shopping and now the wait for the bits to turn up.

More progress this weekend. Not as much as I would like but something.Firstly some carpet. What a pain in the butt that was, then the underdash A/C unit and gear shift. Still need to plumb the A/C. Waiting for some hose to finish it. Also got the loud pedal and pedal rubbers fitted up.

The co-pilot seat and belt. Got to get bolts for the pilot seat so that will be next weekend.

Havn't finished the edging of the carpet yet, I need a left hand rear scuff plate if anyone has a spare. Love it when I empty a box with something new in it, and I managed to empty a few this weekend :D Untill next weekend.
Cheers.

Happy Monday everybody, hope you are all well. I have very little to show for all the dickin around I did this weekend. Screwed down all the cargo strips. These are made from 20mm x 3mm stainless (no pic). I am not going to polish them yet, I kinda like the look of the dull stainless. Then I managed to install my right hand rear window. Thought it was going to be a pain but it wasn't too bad.

And the only other thing I managed was to fit the right rear seat belt.

On another note I did pick up a side project from the Gold Coast.

It is 158cm long, 63cm wide and 38cm high. Not sure what it will become but it looked so cool. Maybe a coffee table, maybe wall art.

Another small update. Lots of work and little to show. Firstly wet rub the upper tail gate, buff & polish. Got the glass fitted and the handle.

Also got the passenger side rear glass in. Then it was clean and paint all the trim for the rear seat and install.

Until next time stay safe and at a safe distance.

Looking good 64V8wagon. I like your rear inertia belt setup. Tidy job on the carpet and interior. I’ve only got fb ek scuff plates I’m afraid.
Cheers
